Dark Horse Estate Winery Inc., is a growing, family-owned winery and vineyard located in the heart of rural Huron County in Ontario, just minutes from Grand Bend, a new emerging region in the grape growing industry.
Dark Horse Estate Winery seeks a candidate to lead its wine sales in the local markets such as LCBO and Direct to Licensees within Ontario with the potential to expand to export. The successful candidate will be part of DHEW’s sales team, working closely with VP of operations and with the owners. This exciting position is responsible for achieving provincial sales results as well as aiding vision, direction, leadership and motivation to the DHEW team.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic sales objectives and marketing strategies for Licensee and LCBO markets
- Develop sales volumes with the direction of VP of Operations and the Production manager and manage sales for each market, while developing new markets to accommodate future volume.
- Liaise with the VP of Operations and Production manager regarding demand and supply forecasts for brands, providing pricing recommendations.
- Establish and maintain key relationships with strategic partners.
- Liaise with the LCBO, licensees accounts regarding programming, inventory logistics, tender calls and new product introduction.
- Aid in Preparing a marketing and sales budget for each market for senior management to review, ensure all necessary records are maintained.
- Be an ambassador for the winery and its wines.
- Schedule and execute on all marketing and sales initiatives for each market.
- Function cooperatively and effectively within a team environment, contribute to overall team objectives and dynamics.
- Manage all budgets within fiscal allocations as outlined by the VP of Operations and Director of Finance.
- Prepare and execute team sales meetings and record minutes.
- Preform other duties as required.
Starting salary 40,000/yr, salary can be negotiated for the ideal candidate. Commission structure and Pension and Benefits. Vehicle allowance.
