Do you want to be part of the growing industry in Nova Scotia’s wine country and experience all aspects of it?

Go North Tours is looking for a wine tour guide/driver for contract work from May - November. Our day tours depart from Halifax and Wolfville, visiting wineries in the Annapolis Valley and include culinary stops as well. This position could grow into a more permanent one if you are the right person for the job!

 The ideal candidate will possess these qualities:

 · Must be motivated

 · Must be energetic

 · Must be reliable

 · Excellent customer service skills are essential

 · Flexible availability (weekdays and weekends)

 · Ability to create a memorable experience for all of our guests

 

Some of the responsibilities of the Wine Guide/Driver include, but are definitely not limited to:

·  Driving a 12 passenger van while talking about the different aspects of our industry and history of the area 

- Helping guests in and out of the vehicle (especially those with limited mobility)

·  Going above and beyond to provide our guests with an educational, world class experience that they will go home and tell their friends about.

 

Previous wine knowledge would be an asset but not a must, as we will train the right person. You have to have a thirst for wine knowledge.  A Class 4 Driver's License and clean driving record is necessary. Candidate may live in either Halifax or Wolfville.
