Operations Manager
Are you interested in an exciting role in the fast-moving alcohol beverage industry? Are you a quick thinker with great computer skills and strong administrative abilities.
We are an Atlantic Canada, Halifax based Wine, Beer, and Spirit Import Agency, looking for a talented individual to join our team as our Operations Manager
This person will be working closely with our Regional Manager, overseeing our day to day activities.
The ideal candidate will be someone with packaged goods experience and ideally alcohol industry knowledge. You should have inventory management skills along with a specific strengths in finance and logistics.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Logistics- including but not limited to Product registrations, applications for the Private Warehouse, pricing calls and changes, and support for both the Monopoly and the Private Wine Store system
- Private Warehousing- Tracking incoming orders daily, outstanding Purchase Orders, and communication with the Warehouse, and working on pricing scenarios.
- Finance- Assisting accounting in Purchase Order tracking, confirming correct pricing and marketing support amount, and rarely overdue collections from supplier partners
- Working with all Monopolies to ensure internal communication for all tenders and pricing opportunities.
- Administration- assisting Brand and Regional Manager on all Tenders, including pricing and technical details.
- Supplier relations including booking events, tastings, and accommodations.
- Work with Regional Manager and Brand Manager on communication around all new listings and one time buys, including timing of releases.
- Assist with internal communication to team on any issues or newsworthy items.
- A very strong skillset in Excel and spreadsheet management

You should have an undergraduate degree and minimum 3 years related experienc.
