CHV Winery is an estate winery located in the rapidly growing wine region of Lake Erie North Shore, located just east of Harrow, Ontario. We are 12 years old and are expanding in all areas of our business including the production and sale of wine. Our business is experiencing strong growth due to our exceptional wines and customer-centric team of staff as well as external distribution channels. We are focused on making high quality, market friendly wines. Our Vineyards are planted in a mixture of red and white vinifera varieties. Our Farming, wine production and lab are all well-equipped.

We are looking for a winemaker that is multi-talented, and hands on to join our growing team of down to earth people. You must have formal education in the field of oenology and experience.

As our winemaker, you will have a working knowledge of all aspects of winemaking from grape harvest to processing and bottling, as well as an understanding of the link between wine style and brand development. You will require an eye for detail and cleanliness, and an understanding of winemaking practices, principles and the science behind it.

You should also have some understanding of canopy management and other viticulture practices to help in the management of the grapes from our 18 acres of vineyard and purchased grapes.

You will be part of the senior management team building and executing our strategy to continue to grow our business, our customer base and our brand. Our Philosophy is that Wine is about Family, Friends, Food and Fun.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.  Moving allowance is available. You must be legally able to work in Canada.
