Position Summary

Colio Estate Wines Inc. requires a full time “hands on” Production Manager for our winery in Harrow, Ontario. Reporting to the VP of Operations you will oversee and execute the production requirements of the winery. It is an integral part of our winery operations and is pivotal to our continued growth and success.

 

Duties and Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

 

• Provide leadership and direction to operators that will enable their growth and capability for care of their assets

• Ensure all Health and Safety and Quality policies and procedures are enforced and being adhered to

• Prioritize all bottling maintenance work activities and work with the Maintenance Manager to ensure preventive maintenance on all bottling assets is being completed

• Ensure the completion of Bottling work orders that are assigned to the team

• Track and improve bottling key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, productivity, material waste, wine waste and quality complaints

• Identify and lead KPI improvement projects

• Ensure all production related inventory is organize according to 5S standards

• Other duties shall be assigned as required.

 

Interested candidates should possess;

• College Diploma in a related field. or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 3 years of relevant experience.

• A flexible schedule is a must

• Strong problem-solving abilities, individually and in a team setting

• Experience working with a CMMS

• Strong technical background with equipment

• Evidence of strong leadership and interpersonal skills

• A self-starter with high energy levels and a “does what it takes” attitude.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

• Effective organizational skills.

• May be required to work weekends and off hours
