Cave Spring was founded in 1986, a pioneer in the Ontario wine industry. Within our two tasting rooms - Jordan Village and the Beamsville Bench - the elegance and sophistication of our wines meet in perfect harmony with the beauty and authencity of our terroir.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated supervisor or assistant manager who will be responsible in supporting the management in cultivating a positive environment for both our team members and our guests.

Responsibilities:
- provide supprt in the day-today operation of both our tasting rooms when required
- provide leadership and. motivation, creating and maintaining a positive work place that encourages the team
- ensure all service areas are functioning smoothly, are kept in immaculate condition and guests are receiving the absolute best service
- assist team members in all areas of daily operations
- continue to expand wine and wine industry knowledge
- ensure properties are always well-stocked with product and supplies
- delegates duties and chores with team members
- assists with administrative duties if required
- ongoing training and development of staff as required
Requirements:
- previous supervisory or management experience, preferably in hospitality
- WSET level 2 or equivalent preferred
- Food Handlers Certificate (an asset)
- Smart Serve Certification mandatory
- flexible schedule, ability to work all weekends, holidays and early evenings
- must be comfortable hosting small and large private groups
Cave Spring has a vaccination policy in place and all existiing and potential employees must comply This is a full time position that will commence February 2022.
Salary will be determined upon experience.
