Summerhill Pyramid Winery is a 30,000+ case Organic winery producing sparkling, white, rose, red, Late Harvest and Icewine located in Kelowna, BC. 

We are looking for a “corky” Cellar Hand to join our team. While experience is an asset this is a great opportunity for someone hoping to get started in the wine industry. This position is full time, year-round, with extended hours during busy periods such as harvest. This position reports to the assistant winemaker.

Tasks will include, but not be limited to:

- Racking, filtering, bottling, labeling, barrel work, disgorging, cleaning, crush work, more cleaning, icewine, lab work, additions, ect.

Requirements:

            -          Positive attitude and ability to work in a team

-          Ability to meet physical demands of position including lifting up to 50lbs, standing for long periods of time, working outside in varying weather conditions, and comfortable with heights

-          Punctual and ability to get oneself to work

-          Must be able to work long and flexible hours

Can be an asset:

            -          Diploma or Degree in wine related field.

            -          Cellar Experience

-          Forklift experience

-          Able to work nights

-          Confined space training

-          OSHA approved First Aid any level

-          Lab experience

-          Organic and Biodynamic winemaking experience
