Sales Representative for The Vibrant Vine Winery and Frequency Wine and Sound Winery
The Vibrant Vines Winery and Frequency Wine and Sound Winery are owned by the Lewis family. These are both creative and fast-growing wineries located on the South East Kelowna Bench, in the Okanagan Valley. We strive to consistently produce award winning wines that provide our valued customers with a fun and delicious experience.
As the Sales Representative, you are part of a dynamic team that continually looks for ways to improve our business model. You demonstrate leadership, professionalism and teamwork in all aspects of your job. We are looking for a results-driven Sales Representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. Your responsibilities include:
Reporting directly to the Wholesales Manager
• respond to queries and provide reports etc. as needed.
• be proactive in communicating problems and solutions
• suggest areas for improvement within your department
Attending weekly management meetings
• provide departmental updates
• actively participate in all management meetings
Job Description and Responsibility
· Represent both wineries in your territory and be responsible for wholesales.
· Analyze the territory’s market potential, track sales and status reports
· Increase distribution of our products maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales
· Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
· Achieve sales targets, set up marketing promotions and merchandising.
· Present, promote and sell our products. Conduct Tastings
· Continuously improve through feedback
· Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Requirements
• Proven work experience as a Sales Representative, ideally in the wine industry
• Comprehensive understanding of wine and the wine industry, WSET 2 or higher preferred.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships and close a sale
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• Fluent in both spoken and written English
• Serving it Right
• Valid BC Drivers License
• This position may include some weekends
• This is a commission-based position.
