The winery maintains a zero carbon footprint, with a beautiful Organic Bistro on site which is 100% zero-waste, utilizing food scraps in their organic compost.

The Pyramid was born from a concept that originated in Champagne, where wine is disgorged and laid to rest and ‘marry’ with the dosage in Roman-built tunnels underground, where the ambient temperature is low. The entrances are marked by sacred geometry of the Roman Archway. It was based on this sacred geometry that Stephen was inspired to build a pyramid, in an exact 1/8 replica of the Great Pyramid of Egypt, oriented to true north and built from mostly concrete without any magnetic materials.



We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable full-time, permanent Internal Sales Manager to represent our portfolio. This role is responsible for the Okanagan interior area including Revelstoke and will manage customers across all trade channels (LDB, On Premise, LRS). Additional responsibilities include organizing and creating displays, tastings, and account support functions.  In addition, attendance at trade events (evenings and weekends) may be required. -  Calling on all Retail stores as assigned and targeted licensees (on-premise), in the defined territory in order to sell and promote the Company’s products.

- Achieving annual sales targets – case volume (by brand) and distribution targets (retail and licensee) for our wines in the defined territory.

- Executing retail promotions and displays, managing inventory levels.

- Managing all retail shelf sets within assigned territory in accordance with company standards and retailer regulations.

- Effective budget spending and tracking to ensure you stay within the defined promotional budget.

- Ensure that all promotional and Point-of-Sale materials are used effectively.

- Responsible for the entire Summerhill Pyramid Winery portfolio. 

- To professionally represent the Company with the customers in the market in order to improve distribution levels, shelf space, display and feature (on premise) activity.

- Undertake, as required, various promotional activities, such as tasting, presentations to members of the trade and consumers, and attendance at special promotions, such as wine tasting, dinners, etc.

- Execute any other assignment as requested.

- Develop, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with individual top tier restaurants and buyers/wine directors and sommeliers. Develop new customer opportunities by using extensive selling and customer relationship skills, strong product knowledge and account management principles.

- Management of customer goals, ensuring both volume and net profit goals are achieved or exceeded.

- Ensure best-in-class consumer experiences at point of sale that bring to life the uniqueness of our fine wine brands by leveraging wine list features, events and staff training.

- Manage allocations by account to ensure best use of scarce wines for optimum benefit to profit and brand equity.

- Report monthly business results to Sales Director and proactively react to customer shortfalls/opportunities.

- Keep abreast of competitive trends and report appropriate developments.

- Monitor and track marketing programs.

- Review and prepare reports / sales materials.

- Timely delivery of orders received.



This position comes with a base salary commensurate with experience, quarterly bonus, a company vehicle with gas card, and group benefits. Business related expenses are also covered.
