Wine Growers British Columbia (formally British Columbia Wine Institute) is currently looking for a talented individual to join our team as Program Manager to be responsible for the planning, design, co-ordination, and implementation of Wine Growers British Columbia stakeholder and influencer programs. This is a full-time salary position starting immediately and based in Kelowna, British Columbia. The Program Manager will report to the Marketing Director working cross functionally with the marketing and communications teams.

Duties and Essential Job Functions:

Stakeholder Programs (Trade, Member and Consumer)

  • Brainstorm and implement program plans and concepts
  • Produce detailed program plans including timelines, budgets, legal requirements etc.
  • Budget and invoice management
  • Manage and coordinate with stakeholders
  • Responsible for implementation of all program logistics
  • Liaise with internal team to coordinate marketing and communication requirements
  • Ensure appropriate permits, Doc 60s, licenses & insurance etc. are in place
  • Develop program feedback surveys
  • Develop post-program reports that evaluate the impact of each program

Influencer Program

  • Manage and negotiate contracts and organization of micro and macro influencer programs
  • Create and coordinate channel-specific influencer strategies across multiple platforms
  • Manage influencer content calendar to continually drive brand awareness and engagement
  • Coordinate familiarization tours (trade, media, influencers)
  • Identify and build relationships with micro and macro influencers
  • Develop detailed influencer plans including timelines, budgets, cross promotion etc.
  • Organic social media posting from time to time
  • Brainstorm new, creative approaches for influencer engagement
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and influencers
  • Set goals, track conversions, and measure success of influencer program
  • Budget and invoice management

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude with a creative approach and willing to go above and beyond
  • People-oriented and a team contributor with a professional demeanor
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience running exceptional programs and events and working with influencers
  • Hold a post-secondary degree in program management, marketing or other related field
  • Experience working with various social media channels and marketing platforms
  • Comprehensive understanding of wine and the wine industry
  • Experience analyzing data to deliver on KPIs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to relate to all levels of stakeholders and influencers with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Highly organized and efficient, able to adapt to change and manage multiple priority tasks with tight deadlines and limited supervision.
  • Good to excellent understanding of office procedures and systems including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams) and Salesforce
  • Familiar with Hootsuite, Klear, Meta, Mailchimp and other marketing platforms
  • Able to lift and/or move items over 40lbs

Travel at the expense of Wine Growers British Columbia is required from time to time.
