An immediate opening exists for an experienced Vineyard Manager/Viticulturalist to oversee the vineyard operations for one of Canada’s leading estate wineries. With over 60 years of experience in growing high quality grapes in the Okanagan Valley, Quails’ Gate is currently seeking a dynamic individual to lead its viticulture team and manage over 300 acres of premium estate vineyards.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6-10 years’ experience in vineyard management as well as relevant education in viticulture. You will have excellent management skills, a keen attention to detail and a drive to be innovative in the development of vineyard operations. As a manager you have a relentless drive for quality, a sharp eye to maintain an efficient operation and excellent communication skills. Annually you will prepare and submit the vineyard operation plan, budgets and capital requests. As part of the senior management team you will report monthly on your departments progress on financial and key performance indicators.
