Hester Creek Winery is searching for a Territory Manager who will promote the interests of the winery while being professional, a leader in the industry and a dedicated representative.  You will regularly exceed service expectations to all partners and have solid business instincts.  Through daily processes you will achieve volume targets and work towards the desired product mix in channels and in the territory.

Expectations

·       Understand sales goals and work to achieve/exceed targets.

·       Maintain customer relationships and understand their needs.

·       Understand the company’s products exceptionally well along with the differences in seasonal pull within the territory.  Meet with customers regularly to update them and address any concerns.

·       Analyze data to find the most efficient sales methods.

·       Report regular updates on territory performance forecasts.

·       Develop and execute weekly and daily sales plans.

·       Inform management of competitive activity and market changes.

·       Ultimately, you will ensure our clients are happy and search for ways to grow our sales.

Qualifications

·       3 years sales experience, hospitality industry an asset.

·       Knowledge of liquor regulations.

·       WSET 2 or equivalent.

·       High attention to detail, results orientated with excellent verbal and written communication.  Able to learn new software quickly.

·       Able to utilize email blast software, design handouts and material for seminars and pours.

·       Own a vehicle, have a valid driver’s licence, able to withstand the physical and mental strains from working on the road.  Able to lift 25KGs.

 

The Territory Manager needs to work during times that customers demand it. They will need to build relationships with existing customers and acquire new customers.  There will be events in the evening and on weekends.  The Southern Interior Territory requires frequent travel and the TM will need to supply the tools to achieve success.

Occasionally the TM will be asked to work outside of the main scope and outside of the territory to promote the interests of the winery.
