About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Vineyard & Orchard Farm Manager to oversee daily operations at our vineyard and orchard. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish, bring hands-on expertise in viticulture and tree fruit management, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and share our passion for growing high-quality crops.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes
• Train trees to increase fruit yield and quality
• Perform weeding, budding, tying, and guiding shoots for optimal growth
• Apply fertilizers and pesticides using appropriate machinery
• Operate and maintain farm equipment (tractors, sprayers, irrigation systems)
• Maintain farm buildings and infrastructure
• Keep detailed financial, production, and quality control records
• Hire, train, and supervise a team of 5–10 general farm workers and harvesters
• Ensure farm safety and biosecurity protocols are followed
• Perform general farm duties including crop cutting and field clearing
• Provide agricultural crop services (plowing, irrigating, cultivating, harvesting)

Requirements

Education:

• Education in Viticulture and/or Tree Fruit Management is considered an asset

Experience:

• 2 or more years of relevant agricultural experience

Certificates & Licences:

• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Pesticide Applicator’s Licence

Languages:

• English (required)
• Spanish (required)
