Join the Winemaking Team at Intrigue Wines
We’re looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our winemaking team at Intrigue Wines! This is a hands-on role at a thriving winery – perfect for someone who is self-motivated, business minded, and ready to contribute to all aspects of the production process. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and thrives in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

· Previous experience in the wine industry is required

Depending on the successful candidate’s experience this role could be classified as any of the following:
· Cellar Assistant
· Cellar Master
· Assistant Winemaker
Please review the tasks below which are integral to this wine-making role:
· Prepare all wine for bottling via mobile bottling line or Co-packing
· Have knowledge of label requirements for VQA approval
· Order supplies (barrels, wine additives etc)
· Determine harvest dates based on our philosophy
· Data entry in Vintrace database and able to create spreadsheets
· Document winemaking procedures, tank volumes, L in tank, L losses, monthly reports for Controller.
· Monitor fermentations
· Perform pump-overs, punch-downs, rackings, pressings, filtering
· Perform Lab Analysis in house or get samples prepared for external lab.
· Understand lab analysis and how to adjust wine.
· Operate, maintain and clean crush pad, cellar and equipment
· Work directly with Winemaker to strategize and implement winemaking plan
· Top barrels, rack barrels, clean barrels, store barrels properly.
· Have experience driving forklift: the work requires processing fruit, stacking pallets and moving barrel racks
· Some vineyard or retail work may be necessary through certain parts of the year
· Longer hours will be required during busier times of the winemaking season
