POSITION: Tasting Room Manager
LOCATION: Langley, BC
JOB TYPE: Part-time/Full-time
THE OPPORTUNITY: As a Sinocan Winery Tasting Room Manager, you create the experience our guests remember. From the moment they arrive, you have a direct impact on the lasting memories by providing an exceptional tasting experience and beyond.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Welcome and engage guests in a friendly and enthusiastic way. Tasting room duties include but are not limited to telling our story, pouring wine samples, maintaining wine & merchandise levels, wine sales, promoting our wine club, helping the team meet sales targets, facilitating checkout experience using POS system, polishing glassware, and daily closing procedures as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS- 19 years of age or older.- Serving It Right certificate-WSET Level 1-Minimum of 2 or more years of wine experience - Must possess a passion for people, wine, food and the hospitality industry - proven managerial skills in a supervisory role. - Detail oriented, multitasking ability and strong work ethic required – individually and as part of a team.- Courteous, friendly, positive attitude - Able to work weekends or weekdays throughout the season.
