Vines to Vintages Inc. is a diversified and comprehensive winemaking supply business including a full line of harvest equipment, laboratory equipment and supplies, high end French and American oak barrels, ozonators, winemaking additions and supplies. We service across Canada from Nova Scotia to British Columbia, with this position based in Longueuil, Quebec.
As we continue our successful path, we are looking to add a full-time, self- motivated, organized and dedicated member to our team. This technical sales position will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing sales in the Quebec market. Wine knowledge is a must as well as the ability to speak French and English! We are seeking someone who enjoys a team environment, is fun to work with, outgoing & extraverted has a desire for leadership and has a positive approach.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Bilingual Technical Sales Representative
- Identify and develop new customers and sales opportunities in the territory.
- Responsible for meeting sales targets of all products.
- Managing existing winery accounts in the specific territories.
- Identifying customers’ needs and providing knowledgeable input and solutions.
- Communication with team and management regarding product quotes for customers.
- Being up-to-date with new products and their composition.
- Candidates must demonstrate examples of being self-motivated and possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work without direct supervision.
- Organizing technical meetings with regional winemakers.
- Ability to manage time, creating an efficient daily schedule.
- Extensive car travel is required.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS and EDUCATION
- This person MUST be fluent in French & English and be able to both speak and write in full grammatical sentences.
- The successful candidate will be proficient in winemaking practices and will have a post-secondary winemaking education, minimum of 2 years winemaking experience is preferred but not necessary.
- At least 2 years of sales experience with a diverse portfolio is requested, with a strong commercial sense of negotiating and closing a sale.
- This person must possess a positive attitude and exhibit great customer service.
- Effective use of networking and strong interpersonal skills
- The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license free of any major violations in the last FIVE years.
We offer a compensation package including salary with performance-based incentives including a yearly bonus.
