Territory Manager Lower Mainland / Fraser Valley (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

SJM Agency Ltd. is a BC based sales, marketing, and import agency for beverage alcohol products. Our focus is on craft and family-owned wine, spirits, cider, RTD and beer brands. 

SJM Agency is seeking a qualified person for our Sales Representative position in the Vancouver and Fraser Valley territories. This roll includes the service and representation of SJM Agency brands to all retail (private and government stores) and on-premise (restaurants, pubs and hotels) accounts in the territory. 

The successful candidate should have +2 years sales experience, a great attitude, and be highly self-motivated with a strong desire to grow.  Product knowledge and enthusiasm for wines, sprits, RTDs and beer would be a great asset for this role and previous experience with retail and on-premises account selling is a bonus.  

The preferred candidate would live in or near the sales territory and be comfortable navigating it. This is a Monday – Friday position with occasional weekend events.

Requirements:

·          Effective oral and written communication skills

·         Competency working with common computer and phone software (MS Office, Google Workspace, CRM)

·         Professional

·         Organised and efficient

·         Motivated self-starter

·         Ability to analyze data and strategize for sales targeting

·         +2 years sales experience  

·         Reliable vehicle and drivers license with clean drivers record 

 

Bonus:

·         Enthusiasm for beverage alcohol brands 

·         Existing product knowledge relating to wine, cider, beer, sprits and RTDs

·         Previous sales experience with beverage alcohol brands

·         WSET l or WSET ll  

 

 

Base salary + commission; commensurate with experience
