HQ Wine & Spirits is looking for passionate, results driven individual with a strong background in retail sales for the role of Key Accounts Retail ,Tri Cites, Fraser Valley, Surrey & Langley. This role will also be responsible for some on-premise accounts.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop programming and strategy for key retail chain accounts
• Present fact based sales presentations to key customers
• Forecast volumes by brand for chain accounts
• Monitor and track chain programming
• Achieve annual sales targets by cases & by dollars across the portfolio of brands
• Operate within approved budgets
• Establish and maintain a call cycle of minimum 40 calls per week
• Become a brand champion with knowledge and understanding of our portfolio and wineries

 

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in business, commerce or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar sales capacity
• WSET 3 certification or equivalent

 

Skills Required

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Positive team player
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office with a focus on Powerpoint & Excel
• Working knowledge of a CRM system
• Strong organization skills including managing deadlines
• Flexible working schedule including evenings and weekends
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to lift 45lbs
