Frind Estate Winery is a quintessential stop on any wine tour of the Okanagan Valley. It boasts a breathtaking lakefront location situated on the historic Bennet Family Property in West Kelowna. Family owned and operated, Frind Estate Winery is producing premium and super premium wines truly reflective of the vineyards, the varietals and the vintage. We are currently looking to fill the full- time role of Sales Representative for Vancouver.
The ideal candidate will understand firsthand the art of sales and the ability to close a sale, parallels the ability to build strong relationships. They will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a competitive nature and efficient time management. Our future teammate will be essential in launching and establishing the Frind Estate Winery brand in their set territory (Vancouver) and continue to build success by securing new accounts both in retail and licensee channels. This position comes with a competitive compensation, bonus structure, vehicle allowance and benefit package.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Dual sales role for both retail and licensee channels
· Ability to drive results at the account level with distribution and display programming
· Attain monthly sales objectives and achieve annual sales targets (case volume)
· Participate in sales meetings and training to keep up to date with industry trends
· Adhere to all deadlines for submitting sales summaries, activities and territory reports
· Conduct account staff trainings and public tastings
· Occasional evening and weekend work as needed
· Duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
· Post-secondary education degree or diploma
· Minimum 1 year of related sales experience, wine/beer/ liquor sales preferred
· Comprehensive understanding of wine and the wine industry, WSET 2 or higher preferred
· Self- starter and highly motivated
· Serving it Right or equivalent
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
· Excellent oral and written English language
· Valid B.C. Drivers License
· Possess an appropriate, dependable and insured vehicle
· Able to lift and carry 40lbs regularly
