Who we are looking for:
A fast paced, results driven Manitoba based individual with passion and knowledge for the beverage industry. This position requires you to be organized, motivated, and focussed on the bigger picture for an overall national goal. Potential candidates would have competitive team spirit, genuine thirst for winning and a desire to work cross-functionally with all sales and marketing. The successful candidate should have level 2 or higher from an accredited wine course, experience in selling wine and the ability to self manage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Accountable for sales results and targets throughout Manitoba
§ Demonstrate fiscal responsibility while managing business expenses and A+P dollars
§ Ensures effective and timely account visits daily
§ Aide in festivals, supplier/account dinners
§ Host fine wine events with suppliers and key customers
§ Act as an ambassador for all Select Wine brands
§ Ability to analyze statistics with strong business acumen and utilize findings to maximize sales approach
Position Requirements:
§ Self starter and highly motivated
§ Serving it Right Certificate
§ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
§ Ability to analyze and interpret data
§ Strong planning and organizational skills
§ Excellent oral and written skills
§ Valid drivers license
§ Possess a dependable and insured vehicle
§ Ability to lift/carry 40lbs regularly
§ Evening/weekend availability when required
