Ontario Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) – Moët Hennessy (MH) Brands

 

Job Summary: 

 This position is responsible for the Ontario Moët Hennessy portfolio in regard to the overall planning and execution of marketing activities and the sales results of the assigned brands in the MH portfolio. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

 

Based from the Mississauga, Charton Hobbs office, the RMM will report to the Ontario regional VP.  Close collaboration and coordination with the other Ontario RMM, CHMH National Marketing, Ontario CHMH Product Specialists, the Ontario Sales management and sales team will be required. The position requires frequent evening work in addition to the normal daytime related job functions which are split between both in and out of the office requirements.  Additionally, the RMM will also be required from time to time to work weekends at specific events.  A moderate level of domestic and international travel is also incumbent with this position.

·       Develop the provincial marketing plans for the assigned MH brands consistent with the guidelines provided by the MH National Brand Managers, complete monthly status reports, provide market updates as required;

·       Liaise with the Sales management team and the entire sales team and champion the demand and supply forecasts and Latest Estimate (LE’s) for MH brands, pricing recommendations and implementation strategies with the sales team;

·       Define the core MH portfolio brands strategic account lists for on- premises, retail, and boutique accounts with the sales team and ensure that quarterly updates of listing status are maintained;

·       Determine with sales team the required input resources to be allocated to core and targeted on and off premises accounts and track spending plans versus planned objectives;

·       Implement and measure effectiveness of regional PR, marketing activities, and event strategies that reflect National brand orientations;

·       Responsible for the overall Advertising and Promotion (A&P) budget for MH brand spending in the province, ensuring the proper monitoring of all A&P spends and corrective actions when required;

·       Responsible for product knowledge and training of the Ontario sales team for MH brands, training of accounts, and targeted high-net worth-individual groups.  

Job Requirements:   

·     Bachelor of Commerce degree or higher, Marketing, Business Administration majors preferred, or 3 or more years job experience directly relevant to luxury goods;

·     French language skills an asset;

·     Strong presentation and negotiating skills for diverse audiences;

·     Available for frequent evening and weekend events (sometimes on short notice), both local and international travel – valid passport required;

·     Strong strategic thinking, analytical, problem solving, organisation and multi-tasking capabilities, able to meet tight deadlines;

·     Intermediate to high level of IT related skills, strong PowerPoint and Excel knowledge and preferably a working knowledge of the CH business systems and other reporting tools;

·     Proven analytical skills and experience in managing major budgets and large-scale marketing projects;

·     Demonstrated ability to multi task, set priorities, negotiate, make presentations, and work as a team player with a diverse universe of related parties is a must;

·     A flair for creative thinking and innovation in developing brand or customer business solutions;

·     Established Toronto and Ontario trade contacts both on and off premises;

·     WSET 2 or higher:

·     Valid Canadian Passport;

·     Valid Ontario Driver’s License;
