Nichol Vineyard is a small, family run winery in Naramata. We are enetering our 31st harvest this year and have a fun, dynamic team. We are small but have modest growth plans in the very near future. Our goal is to grow and produce delicious terroir driven wines and have fun doing it.

We are looking for an Assistant Manager - Vineyard Operations to work with our current Vineyard manger and eventually transition to Vineyard Manager. We have planted and are planting new vineyards in order to fulfill our 3-5 year growth plans. We are looking for an energetic and ambitious candidate who wants a dynamic career in viticulture and who can grow and succeed along with us.
Responsibilities:
- Pruning.
- Pest/Disease/Weed monitoring and control.
- Irrigation and Infrastructure monitoring and maintenance.
- Tractor and equipment operation.
- Soil management and remediation.
- Harvest preparation and supply management.
- Labour coordination.
Salary: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Naramata, BC V0H 1N1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Language:
- English (preferred)
- Spanish helpful
Shift availability:
- Day Shift (required)
- Night Shift sometimes during harvest
Expected start date: 2023-06-01
Salary: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
