Tasting Room Associates
Foxtrot Vineyards produces some of Canada’s best Pinot Noirs from its home vineyards on the Naramata Bench. Foxtrot extolls the virtues of our region’s terroir with pinot noir grown from several unique sites and a labelled as single vineyard wine.
Foxtrot seeks candidates with a passion for fine wine and eagerness to teach, learn and engage with our guests. Separate associates will be hired for two separate experiences, one a premium tasting focused on the nuances of terroir in our Foxtrot brand, and the other fun-in-sun introduction to wines from our more affordable foxly label. Knowledge of wine and a background in fine dining or hospitality are preferred for the former, while enthusiasm and a positive attitude are the main requirements for the foxly experience. Both journeys are meant to make a lasting impression on our guests this summer.
Foxtrot Tasting Room associates will learn not only about our property and our wines, but about how our products and our region fit within the global world of wine, and within the historical context of winemaking. Candidates will have the chance to learn from Foxtrot’s executive chairman Doug Barzelay, noted connoisseur and co-author the definitive work Burgundy Vintages: A History from 1845.
