Joie Farm is a winery located on the beautiful Naramata Bench. We have been internationally recognized for our aromatic whites, mouth-watering rosé and award-winning Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. For the past 15 years we have been an active participant in the local food and wine culture of the Canadian Pacific North West.

Positions: Tasting Room Sales Associate / Tasting Room Shift Lead

What we are looking for:
Results-based sales skills
Experience in hospitality
The ability to calmly cope in a high-paced team environment
The ability to safely lift 50lbs
Serving It Right Certification
WSET experience is a serious asset but a love of wine is required
Second language is an asset
Professionalism, maturity, grace and confidence
The ability to project a polished and professional outward image in both dress and manners
The ability to work in a team and independently
The ability to be comfortable standing for 6 – 7 hours
Daily Responsibilities Include:
Delivering exceptional hospitality in a high-paced environment
Maintaining the cleanliness of the hospitality space including tasting rooms, walkways, restrooms, and picnic area.
Ensuring the tasting bars are well stocked, free of clutter, and ready to receive visitor.
Hosting winery guests with confidence and enthusiasm
Correctly communicating Joie Farm’s winemaking style and curate a memorable experience for each guest.
Acting as an ambassador to Okanagan’s food and wine culture with personal experience and recommendations.
Opening and closing duties.
