Spring is almost here, and JoieFarm will be re-opening our Tasting Room Easter long weekend. We are looking for talented, passionate people to work with during the 2023 season.
Our winery is located on the beautiful Naramata Bench. We have been internationally recognized for our aromatic whites, mouth-watering rosé and award-winning Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. For the past 20 years, we have been an active participant in the local food and wine culture of the Canadian Pacific North West.
We are passionate about creating fresh, naturally balanced, intensely flavoured wines that pair well with food. Because what is “la joie de vie” if not good food, good wine, and great people?

Position:
Full-time & part-time seasonal with the option of full-time salary.
Employment Dates: May 2023 – October 2023 (casual/seasonal)
Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour + 10% commissions on all sales.

- WSET Level II or higher

- Ability to be comfortable standing for 6–8 hours
- Efficient worker and ability to problem solve
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills with an ability to adapt to diverse levels of guest knowledge
- Comfort presenting in front of large groups
Daily Responsibilities (inclusive but not limited to):
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the hospitality space, including the tasting room, walkways, restrooms, and outdoor lounge
- Ensuring the tasting bars are well stocked, free of clutter, and ready for service
- Host winery guests with confidence and enthusiasm
- Correctly communicate Joie’s winemaking style, operations, and curate a memorable experience to the guest’s knowledge level;
- Act as an ambassador to Okanagan’s food and wine culture with personal experience and recommendations.
- Thoroughly commence closing duties at the end of shift to set the next day up for service.
