Job Summary – LCBO Account Manager Niagara/Hamilton/Golden Horseshoe
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the LCBO Account Manager is an organized and driven sales professional. Working within their assigned geographical territory, the Account Manager maintains, and services established and newly acquired LCBO and Grocery accounts in an effort to build relationships and grow listings for both The Vine Agency suppliers and Cave Spring Vineyard.
Job Requirements/Essential Functions
- Perform regular LCBO store visits to increase distribution of our products and launch new listings
- Secure discretionary placements in stores and optimal shelf positioning
- Follow up on the implementation of paid programs
- Conduct wine training and tasting sessions for LCBO employees
- Manage listings to ensure stock minimums are appropriate to support promotional calendar
- Report on in-store activations, wins/losses and challenges and achievements
- Participate in trade-related and promotional events as necessary
- Perform deliveries as necessary
- Ontario driver’s license and full time access to a vehicle
- Smart Serve Certification
- Ability to lift and carry 20kg
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role is an energetic self-starter who is passionate about sales, wine and customer service. They demonstrate an intermediate to advanced level wine knowledge for both local and international regions. Using their excellent verbal and written communication skills they promote positive working relationships both inside and outside the organization. Drawing from their previous experience in sales and/or hospitality, they foster and develop exceptional relationships across all customer types while building sales and brand identity.
