Duties and Responsibilities Cellar Hand will work closely with the winemaker in every stage of the winemaking process. Responsibilities include but are not limited to Intake/inspection of grapes, operating the press, pumps and other winemaking equipment, working extended hours during harvest (sometimes evenings and weekends), managing ferments, cap management, cleaning and sanitation, barrel work, racking, topping, transfers, preparing wine for bottling, driving forklift, sampling wine for testing. Work hours 8am -5pm Monday to Friday, These hours a subject to change during harvest, bottling and as needed to fulfill the winemaking process.
- $18/hour, 1.5x after 44 hours
