Strewn is a medium-size boutique winery specializing in award-winning, small lot wines that are available for tasting and purchase only at the winery.
We are looking for a Customer Relations & Clubs Manager, a new position, who will work closely with both the DTC Marketing Director and the Hospitality Manager to achieve targeted sales and club membership growth while creating engaged, loyal customers.
Qualities and Qualifications
You have a track record as a wine club manager or have the necessary skills to grow memberships, organize and implement club events.
You have day-to-day financial management skills, including tracking budget to key performance metrics, and understand the inter-relationship of the metrics.
You are proficient in data management, CRM, such as FileMaker Pro and winery software (WineDirect preferred), the Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel and Outlook), and are familiar with or can learn point of sale systems.
You are a team player with a hospitality and customer service focus, who can communicate in a professional and compelling manner with winery guests during and post visits.
You are responsive and flexible, self-motivated and able to act independently to solve problems as they occur.
Requirements:
University Degree or Equivalent
Three to five years relevant experience, such as sales and event management experience at a winery, in hospitality or with other luxury products
Specialized wine education, such as WSET; Smart Serve and WHMIS Certification (if necessary the last two can be completed upon hiring)
Flexibility in work hours including weekday, weekend, holidays and occasional evenings
