We are seeking a part-time DTC Specialist to join our Ontario Direct to Consumer. Reporting into the DTC Manager, the DTC Specialist will be responsible for wine club administration, driving sales of wine and wine-related products, and facilitating a positive ongoing relationship with Direct Delivery and Wine Club customers.
We are looking for a teammate with:
- Strong sales ability; experience in Retail/Wine store sales providing best-in-class service for consumers
- Excellent communication skills; congenial, pleasant, tactful and able to maintain composure under stressful conditions
- Ability to exercise judgement and function independently
- Adapt at complaint resolution and autonomous decision making within set parameters
- Ability to follow safe work procedures and practices and reports all unsafe working conditions/hazards to their reporting Manager.
- Exceptional technology and computer skills and knowledge
- Post-secondary diploma in marketing, business, or hospitality; wine Knowledge/Education an asset
- Criminal Record Check as per the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) requirement 12.7
This teammate will be accountable for:
Driving Revenue:
- Looks for and creates opportunities to drive revenue growth by pairing customers with products and services that delight.
- Defends efficiencies and margin by maximizing monthly billable clubs through diligent communication to minimize card failures and maximize billable memberships and orders.
Best in Class Experience:
- Builds relationships with customers via telephone, email, mail, website and personal contact at member exclusive events.
- Accurate, prompt and comprehensive response to customer needs.
Administration:
- Handles high volumes of inbound customer service calls and email and live chat cases daily.
- Completes customer requests for products through orders into Magento & Oracle and with the assistance of various departments in executing pick, pack & shipping and finance.
- Assembles, validates and creates accounts for all new Direct to Consumer and Wine Club customer sign-up information.
- Follows safe work procedures and practices and reports all unsafe working conditions/ hazards to their reporting Manager.
