Working as an integral part of the production team, the Bottling Line Operator will be responsible for planning, scheduling and producing labelled or unlabelled case goods as per demand forecast.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintain efficient operation of bottling line equipment including diagnosing issues when they arise and cleaning/storing bottling line parts
• Formulate bottling schedule as per approved demand forecast
• Schedule and supervise staff
• Coordinate with Logistics Manager to insure appropriate levels of raw materials are available when required
• Maintain accurate raw materials inventory and insure items are stored properly
• Daily input of bottling activity into SBO
• Data entry support for Production team
• Insure bottling line operations adhere to health and safety standards and sanitary food handling requirements

Ideal Candidate

• Mechanical Engineering technician or Viticulture & Oenology technician
• Strong attention to detail
• Superior problem solving skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, physical environment with occasional extended hours including weekends as needed
• Post-secondary education is an asset
•  2-5 years of experience in bottling line operations, preferably in beverage alcohol industry
• Proficient in MS Office
•  Knowledge of ERP inventory management software (SAP Business One ideally)
•  Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic procedures
•  Forklift licence
• Able to lift 50 lbs
