Harvest Winemaker/Cellarhand (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

Burning Kiln Winery has an opportunity for a winemaker or a cellar hand to join the team.  Our estate vineyard is farmed to produce premium fruit that is hand harvested and sorted to give an excellent foundation for winemaking.  The successful person will be integral to creating wines that have personality unique to this region. 

We are seeking a motivated and experienced person with a focus on detail and organisation. The successful candidate understands the winemaking process including sanitation, basic wine analysis, racking, filtration and the preparation of wine for bottling. Harvest experience is an asset and the candidate should also have experience in the operation of forklifts and winemaking equipment including de-stemmers, presses, filters and bottling lines. Finally the candidate will have some basic understanding of MS Excel/Word and be able to lift 55lbs.
