Wild Goose Vineyards and Winery is looking for two crush pad/harvest workers for harvest 2019. We are looking to hire friendly, up-beat individuals to join our winemaking team from mid-September until end of October. For the right individuals a longer term permanent position may be available.

This is an excellent opportunity to build experience and skills in cellar operations and be exposed to premium winemaking in British Columbia.  Local & foreign applicants, with working visas, are welcome.

Key responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Receiving and processing fruit
  • Set up, operate and clean destemmer, must pump and crush pad equipment
  • Clean and sanitize tanks, hoses, pumps and other equipment
  • Racking, pump-overs and punch downs of fermenting wine
  • Cleaning, filling and topping barrels
  • Assist with filtration
  • Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary work environment

No previous experience is necessary, but the successful candidates must be able to:

  • Meet the physical demands of the position including standing for long periods of time, working outside, working in cold and wet conditions, lifting up to 50lbs, & be comfortable with heights
  • work long and flexible hours
