Liquidity Wines is seeking motivated and hard-working individuals to join our small cellar team for the 2021 harvest (August - November).

Liquidity is a premium producer of hand-crafted quality wines, with an emphasis on estate grown fruit and small lot production. Given our unique climate and soil type in Okanagan Falls there is a focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The successful candidates however, will also have the opportunity to work with a wide-range of grape varieties including Viognier, Pinot Gris, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This role will involve working closely with the Winemaker and Assistant Winemaker in all aspects of grape processing and production including, but not limited to: maturity sampling/analysis, receiving grapes, destemming/crushing, pressing, racking, fermentation monitoring, cap management, barrel work and laboratory testing.

Requirements:

§  Positive attitude and a keen interest in premium wine production

§  Attention to detail and commitment to impeccable standards of cleanliness in all aspects of cellar work

§  Strong adherence to safety and operational standards

§  Adaptability to changing work conditions 

§ Ability to work effectively and consistently in a team environment

§  Flexible work schedule and an understanding that long hours may be required

§  Ability to lift up to 50lbs

§  Valid SIN or Canadian Work Permit

Assets:

§  Post-secondary education in a relevant field

§  2-3 years of cellar experience

§  Excellent forklift skills and/or a valid forklift ticket

§  Strong laboratory skills

§  International experience

 

Compensation is based on experience and is industry competitive.
