At our Church & State Oliver location we believe in empowering our employees to share their knowledge of our wines, vineyards and history in their own words. We grow 85 acres of 15 different kinds of grapes including white and red. We focus on premium and ultra premium wines by producing 2 brands : Lost Inhibition and Church & State wines.

Job Description:

Cellar works under the authority of the head winemaker and his assistant, the responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Harvest works: crush pad, sorting table;

· Winemaking works: racking, pump over, blends, tank addition and barrels works;

· Cleaning, sanitation;

· Bottling;

· Preparation of wines shipments;

· Follow safe operating procedures.

Qualifications:

· Ability to adapt schedule

· Strong attention to details

· Basic math skills, and ability to read meters and kilos

· Good communication skills

· Ability to work well in a team environment and/or on an individual/self-directed level as appropriate

· Ability to lift 50ldb

· Must be able to work in high places on ladders, tanks, and catwalks

· Must be able to work indoors, outdoors, and in extreme hot and/or cold climates

· Must be able to work long hours, especially during harvest, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays

· Must be able to work legally in Canada

Job Type: Full-time

 

Salary: $16.00-$21.00 per hour
