Maverick Estate Winery is located on the Golden Mile Slopes between Oliver and Osoyoos and for the past decade has been making some of the most exciting wines in Canada.  Family owned and operated, we are a tight knit team who create sensational, minimal intervention wines and welcoming, relaxed visitor experiences.

Responsibilities
We are a small, tight knit team and we all wear many hats.  As DTC Manager / Team Support, you will partner with the hospitality and production team both to drive and build our wine club / DTC program as well as support the Maverick team. You will be responsible for wine club management, online sales and DTC fulfillment, and also provide crucial support services for the Maverick team. You are the ongoing point of contact for our wine club and DTC customers, and often serve as the initial point of contact for Maverick guests. You will support an inclusive environment for our team members to succeed, create memorable guest experiences and turn curious guests into enthusiasts who become fans of Maverick Estate Winery.

Wine Club and DTC
*  Manage all aspects of our budding wine club; all communication with members (email and phone), member enrollment / onboarding / retention, planning / executing / fulfilling 3 shipments per year, and welcoming our members when they visit!|
* Plan and communicate with mailing list members through scheduled newsletters, promotions, product updates.
* Develop long-term relationships with our guests to foster customer loyalty and community building.
* Create new ways to engage with and excite our community of Maverick fans.

Guest Service & Support
* Interact with guests and customers via phone and email to answer inquiries, book tastings and event reservations, update customer information, and sell wine!
* Support the Maverick team by managing and ordering supplies and coordinating with suppliers to arrange services onsite.
* Assist in hospitality operations to welcome our club members where possible or help when necessary.

Operations
* Plan, schedule and execute wine club shipments 3 times per year.
* Process and fulfill DTC (online) orders.
* Manage inventory and replenishment of wine, packaging materials, collateral, etc.

Must Haves, Nice to Haves
* 3+ years in customer facing role.
* Well organized, able to wear more than one hat during the day.
* Systems and technology literate; experience with Commerce7 or other wine club software a definite asset.
* Open communicator, both written and spoken, with a love of genuine and warm customer service.
* Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively.
* Ability to set goals to achieve exceptional, or at least really good, results.
* Post-secondary education in a relevant field, hospitality, marketing, or business is a nice-to-have.
* Open availability, ability to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
* Valid Serving It Right Certificate.
