Bartier Bros. Vineyard and Winery are looking to hire for cellar hand positions for the 2022 harvest. We are seeking motivated individuals who are passionate about making high quality Okanagan wines. Previous work experience in wine production is an asset. Must be willing to work flexible hours, 6 days a week.

 

Harvest Duties:

●     Crush Pad - forklift operation, fruit receival, pressing, destemming/crushing
●     Cellar - racking, transfers, pumpovers, tank additions, cleaning and sanitizing equipment
●     Ferment - inoculations, nutrient additions, ferment tracking, sensory evaluations of active ferments

 

Seeking people who are:

●     Can follow directions, detail oriented, time management, communication skills
●     Willing to learn if previous experience is limited
●     Able to work individually or as part of a team
●     Can lift 50 lbs
●     Previous forklift operation experience is a bonus
●     If applying from abroad, must already have a valid working Visa for Canada
