River Stone is growing and we are looking for a marketing manager to join our small team. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership qualities and is willing to go the extra mile to deliver. You will have a background in marketing and sales and a deep knowledge and understanding of the wine and/or hospitality industry, ideally in the South Okanagan.

Key Responsibilities will include
- Develop short and long term marketing strategies across all sales channels that support the company’s objectives and revenue goals.
- Lead the development, production and implementation of marketing plans to ensure retention and growth of our current wine club and acquisition of new clients across all sales channels and through a variety of media (Website, Social media, E mail campaigns, Events etc).
- Oversee the execution of the marketing plan paying close attention to budget, project timelines and measuring effectiveness.
- Lead and assist our team in the development of marketing and sales material & techniques for use in all channels (website, email, social media, merchandise etc) to ensure an exceptional customer experience true to the River Stioe culture & brand.
- Work with our direct sales team to coordinate an events strategy in local and key markets in line with the company goals and objectives.
- Assist with development of a comprehensive customer relationship management system and corporate social resoponsibility fraework.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
Interest in fine wines and a knowledge of the wine industry a plus.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role/industry ideally in the South Okanagan a plus.
Strong marketing background with a degree or equivalent in Business or Marketing/Sales a must.
Experience leading or managing a team with the ability to motivate and mentor others to achieve business goals is a must.
Experience working within a small organization is a plus.
Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks effieciently is a must.
A passion for customer service.
Important Details
The succesful candidate will have significant flexibility in managing their workflow and deliverables; the succesful candidate must be a self starter and able to manage their time effectively and efficiently. We can offer flexibility in work schedules and the opportunity for remote working.
