Phantom Creek Estates is a new destination winery located on the famed Black Sage Bench of British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley, specializing in single vineyard Bordeaux reds, Alsatian whites and the Okanagan’s benchmark varieties of Viognier and Syrah from storied vineyard sites. By farming its vineyards organically and bio dynamically, Phantom Creek produces wines that celebrate and speak to the unique Southern Okanagan Terroir.
We are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This full-time, salaried position will be based at the winery on Black Sage Road in Oliver, British Columbia.
The essential functions for the role are:
Marketing Support
· Work with all key stakeholders in the coordination and development of all sales and marketing collateral for all channels
· With a high level of confidence in Excel and PowerPoint to build presentations
· Works cross-functionally across all departments to ensure projects are coordinated, accurate and completed within timelines
· Manages and maintains the database of all trade materials including tech sheets, portfolio, vintage reviews, point of sale materials, event materials and special project as directed
· Prepares samples and presentation for Media, Trade and Foreign markets
· Working with industry partners to manage the procurement and sample approval process for all design, redesign and new product launches-including bottles, labels, capsules and all relevant packaging materials
· Ensure that all marketing materials including labels (front and back) and messaging fall within the legal boundaries of the country we are selling our products within
· Maintain and take ownership of the shared 365-day marketing calendar in Outlook
· Works creatively to ensure our brand and messaging is consistent, adhering to our posting calendar across all social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
· Manages/updates the company website
Event Planning
· Works with all departments managing the logistics and full itineraries for market visits, both domestic and international (Flights, Hotels, Reservations)
· Plan and complete visit itineraries for all Media/Journalist/Influencers/Ownership
· Takes ownership of all off-site activations including tradeshows, tastings and events across the company marketing calendar
Wine Club Concierge
· Works closely with the Sales and Marketing Director building Activations, Promotions and events to ensure best in class experience for our wine club members
· Manage and coordinate wine club shipments
· Work with the Hospitality/Estate team to integrate the features and benefits of the PCE wine club into every winery experience
Sales
· Compile and distribute sales reports and sales data monthly or as requested
· Liaises with our distribution partners and agencies to support the management of inventory and activations in all sales territories and regions
· Support the online sales strategy
· Manage and coordinate shipments for online DTC orders
Skills, Education and Experience required are:
· Completion of WSET Level 2, or equivalent
· Currently or previously worked in a dynamic, beverage alcohol company
· Preference to those who have post-secondary education in Marketing
· Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, and Premiere Pro)
· Impeccable attention to detail
· Exemplary written and interpersonal communication skills
· A natural problem solver who pushes through adversity to complete a goal
· Experience using a CMS, such as WordPress and email marketing platform such as MailChimp
· Experience with Google Analytics and/or Sprout Social would be a definite asset
