Second Chapter Winery is looking for a couple great people to join their tasting bar team in Oliver. You may see us as a new name in the wine business, but as the owners that built Church & State Wines we have over 15 years experience behind this new exciting venture. Using all of our knowledge and passion for the industry we are building a special boutique winery featuring all the wines we love.
Working at this tasting bar you will be working with the owner, the winemaker and other key members of our team. Although preferred people will have experience in the wine industry, we will train you throughout the season, so your knowledge of wine, the winery and the valley will grow. Passion for the wine industry is key. That energy will be shared with guests as they learn not only about our wines but why you are passionate to be here. Experience in sales and generating interest and invigorating conversation are key qualifications. You don't have to be a bodybuilder, but you do need to be able to lift 40lbs, so we can assist guests and move wine as needed.
Your duties would include:

Greeting guests and discussing our wines with them

pouring samples of wine for guests - you do need to be 19 years old

stocking shelves
-
operating a POS system and cashing out the til at the end of day

sharing in opening and closing cleaning duties
