Covert Farms Family Estate is seeking a seasonal Wine Lounge Supervisor to fill a key role on our leadership team. Leading with passion and a keen eye for exceptional guest experience, this role will be responsible for coaching and developing team members, curating unique guest experiences, and motivating the team through the dynamic summer season.

More about the role:
Team Management
- Alongside the Tasting Room Manager, hire and train team members to achieve our goal of providing the most exceptional guest experience possible
- Provide team leadership and motivation, and maintain a positive workplace that encourages our staff and reflects the values and vision of Covert Farms
- Oversee staff schedule and manage requests throughout the season
- Educate staff and ensure compliance of latest safety policies and procedures
Daily Operations
- Oversee opening and/or closing duties including cash handling
- Ensure all service areas are functioning smoothly and are kept in immaculate condition, wine is stocked and chilled, and staff and guests experience is being met
- Manage supplies and inventory; conduct inventory counts as assigned by the Wine Lounge Manager
Guest Experience
- Greet and guide guests through wine tastings, and/or picnics, campfire cookouts, etc.
- Assist guests with purchase decisions, to effectively sell wine and successfully reach wine club sign-ups targets
- Respond to customer or Wine Club Member inquiries for booking requests, inquiries, or concerns, via phone and email in a prompt and friendly manner
- Assist with special after-hours events (ex. weddings)
Who we're looking for:
- You have proven experience in creating exceptional guest experiences within the wine, hospitality, or retail industry; and are comfortable hosting small and large private groups
- You are eager to begin or continue leading teams where creating environments that foster respect, team work, and results are the first priority
- You can commit to the dynamic season schedule that requires working weekends, holidays, and early evenings
- You have a passion for the wine industry and educating others on the subject, and you may have WSET training (preferred but not required)
- You can safely lift 40 lbs. and are comfortable conducting tastings on patio and picnic areas during our hot, and sometimes smokey summers
- General Certificates Required: Serving it Right and Food Safe Certified
