Opportunity: Wine Shop Assistant

Position: Flexible Start Dates - October

We’re looking for energetic, committed, and dedicated Wine Shop Associates for our 2020 season. We have a great atmosphere to learn everything you always wanted about wine and more!

Day in the Life:
This position requires warm, personable individuals who love interacting with people! As our wine shop associate you will be working behind the tasting bar working with our wine. This role requires the educating, pouring, and selling of our wines.

  • Assist guests with tastings and wine sales
  • Promote our wine club and events
  • Stock shelves and organize merchandise
  • Assist with shipping/receiving  
  • Conduct light housekeeping and other duties as required 

Must Haves:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Serving it Right Certification
  • Previous sales experience an asset
  • Food Safe Certificate considered an asset
  • Must be of legal age to consume alcohol in BC
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Meet the physical requirements; regularly lift and carry up to 40lbs
