Wine Shop Manager (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Full time Tasting Room Consultant/Manager in busy, little boutique winery in Oliver BC. Duties include running the tasting room including scheduling and training new employees, tastings with customers, sales including maintaining the POS system (Commerce 7), ordering supplies, helping clean wine shop and all aspects of maintaining a happy environment for customers to taste/purchase wine. Duties will also include managing online sales, helping maintain and increase Cellar Wine Club database, creating and sending out monthly newsletters using Mail Chimp, answering emails, creating brochures, updating tasting notes, working at special events and some bookwork. Work will be Friday through Tuesday, 10:00 to 5:30. Experience, preferably in the wine industry, is a prerequisite, knowledge of Mail Chimp and Commerce 7 is helpful. Bookkeeping is an asset.
