With a commitment to excellence, we are expanding our sales team and seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join us on a commission-only basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about wines, possess excellent sales skills, and thrive in a results-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell a diverse range of high-quality wine and beverage alcohol products to restaurants, bars, and retail establishments in the Ontario territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking and cultivating new business opportunities.
- Conduct engaging product tastings, events and educational sessions to increase customer knowledge and drive sales.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify potential business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Beverage Alcohol Sales Representative with a successful track record in a commission-based role.
- Extensive knowledge of wines, varietals, and winemaking processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and build lasting relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with Ontario's liquor laws and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
Certifications:
- Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 Certification and higher
- Prud’homme Beer Certification
