National Accounts Manager - Canada (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Select Wines is growing and has a rare opportunity to join their unbeatable team, in a newly created role.

Working closely with all Provincial Directors, the National Accounts Manager will sustain existing relationships and open doors for our world class portfolios. Servicing all Select Wine companies, this position will be responsible for key National and Regional On-Premise chains.

To be successful in this position, you must be results driven, wine passionate and have knowledge of the wine industry.  Potential candidates will be organized, self motivated and have a strong attention to detail as well as a desire to work cross-functionally with all markets and business units. A minimum of WSET Level 2 or equivalent designation and experience in wine sales are essential.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Accountable for sales results and targets in designated National or Regional On-Premise chains

·         Fiscal responsibility while managing business expenses and Advertising and Promotions dollars

·         Festivals, supplier, and account dinners

·         Fine wine events with suppliers and key customers

·         Ambassadorship of all Select Wine brands

·         Analysis of statistics with strong business acumen and ability to utilize findings to maximize sales

·         Cross-functional work with all provinces and business units to best service the needs of all customers

·         Higher level operational sales tasks


Position Requirements:

·         Self starter and highly motivated

·         Elevated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint specifically)

·         Ability to analyze and interpret data

·         Strong planning and organizational skills

·         Ability to meet tight deadlines

·         Excellent oral and written skills

·         Robust presentation and negotiation skills

·         Creative and innovative approach to business

·         Valid drivers license with clean driving record

·         A dependable and insured vehicle

·         Ability to lift/carry 40lbs regularly

·         Evening/weekend availability when required

·         Benefit to existing National scope/understanding and account relationships

·         Bilingual (English/French) an asset

·         Travel required

Compensation and benefits commensurate with experience. Business related expenses are also covered.
