Vineyard Operator/Cellar hand (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

Osoyoos Larose, leader in Bordeaux Blends in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley since 1998, is looking for a vineyard operator/cellar hand. The position is permanent full-time and will report directly to the Viticulturist/Vineyard Manager.

 

This is a full-time position beginning in April 2020.

Responsibilities:

 

·         Plan and execute vineyard operations under the supervision of the vineyard manager

 

·         Assist in the planning of the organic spray schedule 

 

·         Tractor driving (Spraying, hedging…)

 

·         Vineyard infrastructure maintenance – post/trellis/fencing/irrigation

 

·         Maintenance and repairs on all equipment with the mechanic

 

·         Harvest in the winery from September to December under the supervision of the winemaker.
