Osoyoos Larose is a premium organic winery based in South Okanagan BC. We are looking for a new vineyard operator to join our team. The successful candidate will report to the winemaker and vineyard manager. This is a full-time position, minimum 40hrs/week. Experience is a plus, but this position is open to inexperienced candidates who are willing to learn.

 

Job Duties:

·       Supervise the vineyard team to ensure the production of high-quality grapes

·       Organize, control, and participate in all aspects of the vineyard mechanization 

·       Ensure the proper maintenance of the equipment.

·       Monitor the vineyards for disease and pest, IPM.

·       Irrigation operation and maintenance

·       Pruning, trellis maintenance…

·       Cellar work during harvest

·       Internal and external training is offered (Forklift, pesticide, confined space, first aid…)

Ideal candidate:

·       Experience in complimentary roles (agriculture, horticulture, viticulture)

·       Valid driver’s licence

·       Commitment to quality

·       Ability to work a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays as required

19-22$/Hour (salary depending on experience)
