Territory Manager – Retail (Ottawa River Region)

 

 Profile Wine Group, one of Canada’s premier wine agencies is currently seeking an Experienced Territory Manager to call upon LCBO retail locations within the Ottawa River Region, and develop long term relationships with key LCBO in-store staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth and market share by building brand image and awareness through various promotional programs and effective execution of paid programming initiatives. In addition, the successful candidate will be a team player, with a strong passion for wine.

 

Core Responsibilities:

·         Establish relationships with store level decision makers and key influencers

·         Educate LCBO staff via staff tastings and providing product knowledge

·         Leverage presence of winery personnel to build brand awareness 

·         Ensure in-store promotions and programs are optimized and properly executed

·         Secure in-store discretionary promotional opportunities

·         Work with external agency to arrange for in-store consumer tasting events

·         Attend promotional and special events as required

·         Ensure timely execution of administrative responsibilities

Education & Experience:

·         Minimum of 2 years progressive sales experience within the alcohol beverage industry

·         Successful completion of WSET, ISG or industry related courses is an asset 

·         Industry knowledge and an understanding of LCBO regulations and policies  

·         Post-Secondary education in marketing and/or sales related studies

Skills/Competencies

·         Highly motivated self-starter with strong planning and organizational skills

·         Above average customer service skills including regular contact, problem resolution, follow through, and attention to detail

·         Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast paced and demanding environment

·         Strong oral, written, and sales negotiation skills

·         Ability to use technology to support daily sales activities. i.e. social media, email, etc..
