Wolf Willow Winery (Outlook, SK) is looking for a passionate self-driven creative winemaker who is looking to do something a little outside the conventions of grape winemaking. Wolf Willow Winery has 100 acres of certified organic land where we have 6000+ sour cherry trees, 500 haskap trees, and 1000 rhubarb plants. We also grow raspberries, strawberries and many herbs and vegetables with acres more of organic land to expand.
We are a small but vibrant and creative winery looking for someone who likes to play and experiment with the rich and unique flavours found in our own backyard. We currently bottle our estate grown Sour Cherry, Rhubarb, and Honeyberry wine. We’ve also delved into the canned fruit wine based spritz category with three tasty offerings. Currently we offer a Raspberry Rhubarb Press, Prairie Sangria, and a Sour Cherry Cola. They are all blended with our organic wines.
We are looking for someone to manage our current wine and beverage production and also spearhead new product development with our current and future crop. The winery is wanting to work with the suitable candidate in developing products while helping facilitate the winemaker’s own passions and interests. We are open to profit sharing and/or partnerships if the candidate aligns with the Wolf Willow brand and vision. Our ideal candidate would be wanting to express themselves creatively and be instrumental in creating the Wolf Willow Winery brand.
Attached to the winery facility is a season restaurant which is integrated with a ‘glamp’ground on the adjacent land. Wolf Willow Winery products accompany and boost the orchard and adjascent land as a tourist destination.

Duties
The successful individual would have considerable input into fermentation processes and styles of wine and other products being produced. Executing day to day operations of the cellar at the winery. Assisting the restaurant team and owners, adding support for wine tastings, farmers markets, and special events. Working with chef and owners to develop new products.
Ideal Candidate
· Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Assistant Winemaker or Winemaker for small lot winery.
· Must be a team player
· Communication in English (written and verbal) a necessity
· Strong supervisory skills and ability to work alone. This is an extremely hands on position
· Clean, orderly work ethic
· Exceptional problem-solving skills
· Experience with and a strong knowledge of viticulture
· Experience working with vineyard machinery/equipment would be a great asset.
· Attention to detail and ability to keep accurate and current records of inventory, fermentation process, and paperwork.
