About the Role:
We are looking for someone that wants to grow into a leader here. As our Direct to Consumer Marketing and Event Coordinator, you are enthusiastic, energetic, hands-on team member who thrives on connection and building relationships. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, this role seeks to create a consumer experience that is unparalleled in the Canadian wine industry. They will achieve wine club membership targets, curate and execute club exclusive events, drive eCommerce sales and communicate it all through our website, social channels and email.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Set and achieve quarterly wine club membership targets
- Execute shipment schedule and supply our team with the necessary information in advance of each shipment
- Lead the administrative of the wine club
- Curate and co-host special club events on-site to elevate the member experience
- Create marketing materials for the Wine Club with the help of our creative agency
- Communicate with all TIME Family of Wines databases via Mailchimp
- Create and execute initiatives to increase eCommerce sales
- Setup new products, promotions and events on Commerce7 and the website
- Curate and execute our social media plan, along with support from our agency
- Marketing administration as required
- Work with our event sales team to ensure winery events are setup and executed flawlessly
What You Have:
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business/Marketing/Hospitality or related from a recognized institution
- 1+ years of experience in Marketing, Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Retail environment providing exceptional customer experiences
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Flexible and able to handle multiple priorities
- Desire to take ownership of initiatives
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office suite of applications
Nice to Haves:
- Experience working in the wine industry is an asset
- WSET or equivalent is an asset
- Experience with Commerce7, Canva, Mailchimp
