BLACK WIDOW WINERY TASTING ROOM STAFF, PENTICTON, B.C
Located on the Naramata Bench, our boutique winery is entering it's 15th season. Family owned and operated, we are looking for 2 individuals with a strong passion for wine and superior customer service skills to assist us in our Tasting Room.
Open from May through October we are open without appointment daily for 4-6 hours. We offer flexible shifts to match your availability, and both part-time and full-time options. Prior experience and a knowledge of wines supplemented by a diploma or WSET courses would be an asset. Must be 19+ years of age and hold a valid Serving It Right certificate.
Duties include preparing the Tasting Room for opening each day, providing samples to patrons, discussing our wines and presenting our story, processing sales, assisting with load-out of larger orders, packaging wines for courier pickup, providing background on our Wine Club, registering new members, assisting with events, and related duties.
In addition to having a friendly, enthusiastic personality and professional manner, successful applicants must be able to stand for longer periods of time, climb stairs, and lift 45lb cases of wine. Punctuality and reliability are essential as our staff is small in number.
